Del Monte Meat Company was originally founded in 1926 in San Francisco, California. Since that time, we have expanded our operations to include facilities in Sacramento and Oakland which have been serving their surrounding areas for quite some time. All of our facilities are USDA inspected and serve only the highest quality meats to Northern California.
Del Monte Meat Company supplies beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry and seafood products. We also inventory a large variety of deli and sausage items, smoked and cured meats, fully-cooked, ready to serve meats and frozen portion-controlled products. Our staff of highly-skilled butchers are able to provide fresh, portion-controlled products to satisfy all of our customer's needs on a fresh, cut-to-order basis.
All of our products are held in modern refrigerated coolers and freezers at all times. This ensures there is no chance of temperature deviations while under our control.
Del Monte Meat Company's team of quality control personnel ensure that the company's highest standards and customer's specifications are met. Random product micro-biological testing is done during various stages of production to make certain our customers are receiving the highest quality and safest products in Northern California.
Shelf life studies and controlled sampling are all part of our Total Quality Control Program that helps assure of and, most importantly you, the customer.
Del Monte Meat Company's quality control team is HACCP trained, tested and certified for successfully completing a USDA-approved HACCP program.
